Volunteer for the 2023 harvest

We are happy to announce that the first harvest September 16th is over and we have one more to go. We will be harvesting the rest of our 2023 estate vintage on September 23rd starting at 8:30 am.

The grapes look great as of today and we will be closely monitoring the grapes for the rest of the week. We will be bringing in the remaining Siegerrebe as well as the Madeleine Angevine this coming Saturday September 23rd. With the possibility of a mid week or Sunday pick if necessary.

So, if you have never experienced a Comfort harvest or you are an experienced volunteer. Now is the time to mark your calendars for Saturday September 23rd at 8:30 am We look forward to your help and providing a wonderful 2023 harvest experience for you and your friends.

Plan to stay until early afternoon, watch the grape pressing process, eat lunch, and enjoy an afternoon at the winery with family and friends.

Long hot days in the vineyard turn into beautiful evenings.
New edition to our food menu — Warm goat cheese infused with our late harvest. Available now until the end of May. Pairs perfectly with our new wine club exclusive Nebbiolo.

Hedging in the vineyard last week. After over a decade of walking up and down each row and manually trimming the vines with either a Christmas tree knife or gas powered hedger, we upgraded last year to a tractor trimmer. What a time and energy saver!

This years cooler than normal weather may mean a new Sparkling vintage. Vines are flowering weeks behind their normal schedule but what a sweet sight (and scent) they are.
