Overlooking the Puget Sound, our family-run winery, bed & breakfast, and farm, on the south end of beautiful Whidbey Island, is a perfect place to stop and enjoy a glass of local wine - stay for an hour or a few days. Carl and Rita Comfort bought the 22-acre farm in 2006 and in 2009 converted an existing building into their winery and tasting room. In 2016, they finished their new tasting room, winery, bed and breakfast and event space.
With close to 6,000 grapevine planted in the estate vineyard, a majority of the year is dedicated to hand pruning and nurturing the plants to ensure the best quality grapes possible. Each fall the tradition continues of harvesting the grapes with the help of the community, family and friends.
Our vines include Siegerrebe, Madeleine Angevine, Madeleine Sylvaner and Pinot Noir. We aim for the highest standard in both grape production and processing to create artisan white wines made solely from grapes grown on our farm.
